Clicking Coil

The Clicking Coil is based on the principle of working with a magnetic field in various ways. 5 coils with steel cores are unevenly spaced from each other. The electromagnetic principle of influence on individual steel elements of the structure assumes the formation of a large frequency spectrum. The flywheel with four permanent magnets is responsible for exciting two vertically directed steel rods. As a result, it is possible to work with microtonal structures in the mid-frequency range.

The device is controlled by pulse width modulation. The overall sound palette is read by a piezoelectric sensor.
