Matthew 18:23-35

The point of this parable is that everyone who has experiences forgiveness must be ready to forgive anyone who is indebted to him and do it wholeheartedly without resentment. (See Matthew 18: 35)
Jesus is teaching his disciples that the kingdom of heaven is a kingdom of Grace. It is a kingdom where ambitious disputes and vindictiveness are unseemly and intolerable. The parable's aim is to impress upon the mind the duty of forgiveness especially those who have been forgiven by God and live in his grace.
