I have 2 Luxman r-1500 receivers. Vintage Luxman was together with Marantz, Sansui, McIntosch and Accuphase, one of the top brands. With it's unique design and luxman's biggest receiver ever made you pay today 400 euro for a nice one. A similar 2x75W Marantz cost you about 700 euro. Where is the logic? The only reason for me not to keep he akai and luxman's in the end is because both doesn't have a pre out.
