Materials Needed:
Your favorite bread
Cream cheese
Hello Kitty cookie cutter mold
Spatula
Cucumber
Don’t forget to wash your hands!
Step-by-Step Instructions:
(01:50) Step 1: Ask an adult for help cutting the cucumber into slices
(01:54) Step 2: Spread some cream cheese over a piece of bread. You can add some salt and pepper if you’d like!
(02:03) Step 3: Now add the cucumbers and the top piece of bread
(02:10) Step 4: It’s time to use the Hello Kitty cookie cutter! You have to press hard.
(02:15) Step 5: Next, we press her face into the mold. We’re going to make enough sandwiches to share with our loved ones
Now to satisfy our sweet tooth! Let’s make our heart-shaped mini cakes. Don’t forget to wash your hands again! We’re going to use the oven for this next treat, so ask an adult for help.
Materials Needed:
Box cake mix
Mixing bowl
Spatula
Parchment paper
Baking sheet
Heart-shaped cookie cutter
Piping bag of icing
Step-by-Step Instructions:
(02:40) Step 1: First, make your favorite box cake mix. We’re going to use red velvet to match Hello Kitty’s red bow
(02:48) Step 2: Once you have the cake batter, pour a thin layer onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
(02:55) Step 3: Smooth the cake batter out as best you can and bake for 8-10 minutes. Keep a close eye on these!
(03:01) Step 4: After the cake has cooled down, use your heart-shaped cookie cutter to make little heart shapes. We’re going to make tiny hearts for our doll and some bigger hearts for us to enjoy!
(03:13) Step 5: Now using a piping bag of icing, add a few dollops on top of each heart to finish the double-layered cakes
For our final treat, we’re going to show you how to make Hello Kitty cupcake toppers.
Materials Needed:

Cupcake baking sheet
Piping bag of icing
Hello Kitty cookie cutter
Three colors of fondant
Black food coloring to dye the white fondant for Hello Kitty’s eye and whiskers
Don’t forget to wash your hands again and ask an adult for help!
Step-by-Step Instructions:
(03:29) Step 1: Bake a box of cupcake mix
(03:31) Step 2: Pipe your favorite color of icing onto each cupcake
(03:57) Step 3: Roll out the white fondant until it’s a quarter-inch thick and use your Hello Kitty cookie cutter again
(04:07) Step 4: Now it’s time to stamp the faces.
(04:16) Step 5: To make the bow, roll three balls of red fondant and attach them to Hello Kitty’s face using a little bit of water
(04:24) Step 6: Use something round to make a little dimple on her bow like this
(04:28) Step 7: Use yellow for the nose and black for the eyes and whiskers
