After a few weeks of too much work and not enough play in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, we decided to treat ourselves to a staycation at the exclusive and luxurious Casa Kimberly. Casa Kimberly has to be one of the most lovely small luxury hotels of the world. We learned About Casa Kimberly when creating our Puerto Vallarta Tour From Home and couldn't wait to pass through the gorgeous rot-iron gate and escape into a weekend of pampering.
We enjoyed a private tequila tasting, cocktails on our balcony overlooking Puerto Vallarta, and a delicious meal in the open-air restaurant, and morning coffee with a gorgeous view.
The property pays homage to the love affair between Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton and is a very special place.
