LHB train arrival MGR CHENNAI CENTRAL | Spotting variety of locomotives |

12686 Mangalore Central MGR Chennai Central Superfast Express in LHB avatar entering Puratchi Thalaivar Dr MGR Central railway station or MGR Chennai Central railway station (MAS), running late by more than 150 minutes. I wanted to capture the video till the moment our train stopped inside MAS but the passengers in my 2AC coach were all in a hurry to step out due to which I had to stop recording.

As our train skipped Basin Bridge Junction, one can see lots of Electric locomotives lined up at BBQ trip shed taking a break after hauling their respective trains at nights. WAG-7 locomotive, Multiple WAP-7 locomotives, WAP-1 locomotive and WAP-4 locomotive are seen resting. Lots of diesel shunters, TNP WDM-7, can be seen in action performing duties around MAS. It was very refreshing to see so many diesel locomotives of TNP livery at central railway station.
