Helsinki, FINLAND - 1999 World Figure Skating Championships, Ladies' Qualifying Round - Jennifer Robinson of Canada placed 8th in the Qualifying Round for Group B. Because there were so many entries for the Men's and Ladies' competition, the ISU created a Qualification Round that was worth 20% of the overall score. Each discipline would then divide the skaters into 2 groups. The Top 15 from each group would advance to the Short Program. CTV commentators were Ron Black and Debbie Wilkes.
