Any one remembers this cookbook? One of my prized possessions! Today I decided to bake the plain cake. Its funny how recipes were written; a lot was left to be interpreted by the chef. Here is my version adapted for 2020
PLAIN CAKE
500 g (4 cups) flour
250g (1 cup ) sugar
250g (2 sticks) butter
3-4 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
1.5 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Bake at 350 F for 65 minutes
This is not healthy or Fatloss friendly.
Exercise portion control, only bake once in a while, and share with others.
