Tonsil removal might affect his vocal and singing skills.
On April 17th, Kim Donghan's label OUI Entertainment announced that the singer had undergone tonsil removal surgery back on April 10th. it's said that Kim Donghan will need a recovery period of approximately 3 to 4 weeks.
The agency revealed, "We would also like to apologize to fans for not notifying you of such events sooner, as we were worried about concerning many people with even more unfortunate news in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic."
While tonsil removal surgery is quite common, fans have now expressed worry if the removal might affect his singing career.
Citing from Healthline, tonsil removal may increase the rate of upper respiratory infections and asthma. On top of that, it's not impossible that tonsil removal may affect one's voice and singing skills.
Not to mention, fans have been now expressing their worries for Kim Donghan. Currently, the singer is taking bed rest to recover. Get well very soon, Kim Donghan!
