Greetings from Vivant UntamedEarth Foundation Close Encounter With A Common Baron
Scientific Name : Euthalia aconthea
The Common Baron, as the name suggests, is quite common even in our urban areas. Surprisingly, it was perched on a parked motor cycle and seemed to enjoy a drink of water ? fallen on the fuel tank.
Fortunately, we were able to record its feeding behavior and document its characteristic bright yellow green proboscis in action.
It was totally oblivious to the cacophony of the dense early morning rush hour traffic and was content to enjoy its drink.
