Americans uncomfortable doing most things even if restrictions are lifted

Americans uncomfortable doing most things even if restrictions are lifted On today's What America's Thinking, a new Hill/HarrisX poll finds that Americans are wary of returning to normal life when social distancing restrictions are lifted. This, as President Trump says he is making plans to reopen the government. Public opinion analyst and senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, Karlyn Bowman, joins Hill TV to discuss where voters stand on the issue. This survey was conducted online within the United States from April 06-07, 2020 among 1000 registered voters by HarrisX. The sampling margin of error of this poll is plus or minus 3.1 percentage points. The results reflect a nationally representative sample of registered voters. Results were weighted for age within gender, region, race/ethnicity, income, political party, and education where necessary to align them with their actual proportions in the population.
