In this video, I am going to share my personal opinion and my full analysis and final thoughts on Arabic Mike Youtube Channel regards his Arabic Videos.
First of all, what strikes me that, he is claiming that he is an Arabic Teacher and he can teach you Arabic.
As you noticed from the previous videos we have posted recently that Arabic Mike is making crucial mistakes while he is conversing in Arabic with Native Arabic Speakers.
Pronunciation:
Mike has a very strong English accent, he can’t distinguish between Q and K, he has difficulty with pronouncing the 7.
Examples:
He Mixes Fus7a with Spoken Arabic:
The way he mixes Fusha and spoken Arabic is very bad. I mean Yes, you can blend the two languages together, but defiantly NOT in the way he does!!!!
The way to mix the two languages is that first,
1. you learn spoken Arabic first
2. then media Arabic, Business Arabic,
3. then you mix it in a way that the frame of the dialogue is in spoken and the contents are from modern standard Arabic. and that is sophisticated Spoken Arabic.
4. and then you start watching Tv programs where people talk about complex topics like ‘ al-itti-jaah al-mu3aakis and learn how they do it correctly.
I don't recommend any beginner learner to learn from Mike otherwise you will have a very a weird strange accent forever!!!! And it cant be fixed.
Does he really speak Arabic?
Now, looking at his videos, I noticed that he speaks very slowly, thinking too much about what to say in addition to that, all the videos he made under the title ‘Chatting With Arabs’, doesn’t go beyond a basic introduction then he immediately switches to English, throwing Arabic words form time to time in spite of the encouragements of the Arabs he interviews like the Qatari Man - by the way, I love this Qatari man, he is very kind to mike and he speaks very slowly and keeps encouraging him to speak in Arabic with no judgements. I looked at all his Arabic Videos, there is no video where he speaks Arabic naturally and confidently and going fully in Arabic, that leads me to a question whether Mike speaks Arabic ? or he just memorising some Arabic words, sentences and phrases and keeps using it in his videos so he can get reviews and followers.
He is a businessman who knows marketing:
We need to acknowledge he has a fairly good amount of followers, He is a businessman who knows marketing but he is not an Arabic teacher!! that is why he was able to build up his channel so well and respect for that!!!! but not on the expense on bringing false information like claiming he can teach Arabic!!!! this is crazy!!!!
Don't claim you can teach Arabic!!!!!!!! You can say that you are learning Arabic and doing your best!!!!!!!!! and we are happy to support you and advice you on how to improve your Arabic and take it to the next level.

I know some of you, have been following Mike and watching his videos for a while, and maybe learning Arabic from him or bought one of his online courses, so for us to talk about him and show you that he is not qualified Arabic Teacher, makes you upset, angry and reactive emotionally and want to defend him in any way that it is possible, it is Ok, but We will protect Our language from anyone who is trying to present it or teach it in a false way or misleading the students to learn something that is incorrect. We will speak the truth and protect our language and share our personal opinion whether you like it or not!!!
